Clay Target Shooting is a fun outdoor sport based on concentration and quick reactions. Participants shoot targets travelling at approximately 50km/hr from different positions throughout the event. A reasonable level of Clay Target Shooting can be achieved in a short period of time. This allows you to invite anyone you wish to a Clay Target Shooting day, even if they have never held a gun before. At the end of each shooting event, every participant will have experienced the thrill of aiming high and hitting a clay target.

Our Corporate Shooting days & events are conducted at our Melbourne Shooting facility by Adam Vella, Athens Olympics Bronze Medalist, Commonwealth Games dual Gold Medalist and 2010 Beijing World Cup Champion or with one of our qualified instructors.

Participants will be shown the basic technique of clay shooting and it is up to each participant to challenge themselves, aim high and hit their targets. It will be, indeed, an exciting experience whether the participants are beginners or experts. Our shooting days cater for any group size. The clay target shooting session lasts between 2 to 6 hours depending on group size and package selected.

No shooting license is required to participate on a shooting day session and no gun handling experience is necessary. Clay target shooting is a safe sport for everyone to enjoy, males and females can compete equally. Participants must be over 13 years of age.

Our Melbourne venue’s are the Frankston – Australian Clay Target Club , 123 Rossiter Rd Carrum Downs , only 45 mins SE from the Melb CBD and the Metropolitan Clay Target Club, 20 Vearings Rd Epping (off O’Hearns Rd) only 30mins North from Melbourne Airport. Operating times are : 7 Days 9:30am -6pm

Participants shoot inside a safety cage to restrict any horizontal movement of a loaded shotgun. Most importantly, Oz Shooting has its own Public Liability Insurance.
